Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Investment Thesis Development

  • Develop and refine sector-level and company-level investment theses

  • Identify secular trends, structural tailwinds, and dislocations driving opportunity

  • Articulate clear “why now” rationales for potential investments

  • Frame upside potential, risks, and key diligence questions at an early stage

Market, Industry & Business Model Research

  • Conduct deep industry and competitive landscape research

  • Analyze market size, growth drivers, customer behavior, and value chains

  • Evaluate business models, unit economics, and scalability across sectors

  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear narratives

Analytical & Financial Support

  • Perform high-level financial analysis to support thesis validation

  • Analyze historical performance, KPIs, and benchmark metrics

  • Support valuation frameworks and return expectations at a conceptual level

  • Collaborate with deal teams on assumptions underlying investment cases

Investment Committee & Internal Communication

  • Draft investment thesis memos, white papers, and presentation materials

  • Clearly communicate insights, conclusions, and recommendations

  • Support internal discussions on sector prioritization and capital allocation

  • Present research-backed perspectives on opportunities and risks

Ongoing Idea Generation & Knowledge Building

  • Monitor market developments, competitive moves, and macro trends

  • Maintain internal knowledge bases on priority sectors and themes

  • Contribute to firm-wide thought leadership and investment strategy refinement

Experience (Formal or Informal)
