Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join our platform as Investment Analysts (Private Capital).
This is not a traditional employment role. Investment Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification, verification, and approval framework.
Once approved, Investment Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere ecosystem
Gain access to live private market deal flow and paid analytical engagements
Support investors, fund managers, and operators on active transactions
Build a verified deal track record and proprietary Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers include:
Analyst / Associate Analyst · Lead Analyst · Senior Analyst
Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Investment Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–$200/hour
Typical Background: Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, real estate development, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience
Lead Investment Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–$150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of deal execution, modeling, or valuation experience
Investment Analyst / Associate Analyst
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–$100/hour
Typical Background: Entry- to mid-level analysts with strong technical and analytical capabilities
Core Responsibilities (Approval-Based)
Investment Analysts are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance. Approved responsibilities may include:
Financial Modeling & Valuation
Three-statement financial modeling
Commercial real estate underwriting
Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and LBO modeling
Sensitivity and scenario analysis
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football-field valuation summaries
Due Diligence & Investment Support
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Commercial, operational, and financial diligence
Risk identification and assessment
Investment memorandum and committee materials support
Analysts may only perform work within categories they are formally approved for. Approvals are merit-based—not tenure-based.
How Investment Analysts Begin Earning
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training
Receive category-specific approvals (e.g., Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
Complete verification and onboarding
Begin earning immediately through hourly engagements and live deal work
No cold applications. No unpaid trial work.
Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors on the platform.
Certification & Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Achieve a 70%+ score in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Investment Analyst is assigned a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility and promotion priority
Approved analytical work categories
Recommended hourly compensation range
Compensation & Deal Economics
Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval tier
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
