Investigative Coordinator

Accentuate Staffing is seeking an Investigative Coordinator to join our client in Raleigh, NC. This role is responsible for managing complaint cases from initiation through completion. The Investigative Coordinator oversees case progress, ensures timely movement through the complaint process, maintains accurate documentation, responds to inquiries, and prepares correspondence and reports related to each case.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complaint cases from start to finish, including creating case files, communicating with complainants and licensees, and tailoring correspondence based on case details.
- Research investigative files and compile documents for the database to ensure accurate historical and current case records.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Investigations Manager, Medical Director’s Office, Field Investigations, and Legal staff on cases requiring additional review.
- Convert documents into searchable text, review materials for accuracy, and perform redactions per protocol.
- Respond to requests from internal staff and board members for additional case documentation.
- Prepare committee and reports, review data extractions, and address questions related to report content.
- Participate in monthly case meetings and bi-monthly board meetings, including displaying reports, recording Board actions, and producing work notes and related materials for public reporting.
- Following meetings, finalize work notes and assign cases to the appropriate department.
Qualifications:
- Two- or four-year college degree required.
- Minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a healthcare or related regulatory environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
