Duties:
* Maintains organization biological disposal standards by adhering to policies, procedures, and protocols; reporting potential breaches; recommending needed changes.
* Removes biological waste by collecting and removing waste from user departments; boxing and sealing waste according to protocol; labeling biological waste containers; transporting biological waste to central storage area.
* Maintains biological waste storage area by cleaning and sanitizing biological waste carts; cleaning and sanitizing biological waste storage area; performing periodic floor maintenance.
* Maintains biological waste equipment by inspecting carts for needed repairs; arranging repairs.
* Maintains biological waste supplies by inventorying biological waste supplies; stocking cart with necessary supplies; notifying central storage of supply needs.
