Inventory Reconciliations Team Manager

- Lead inventory control activities to ensure accurate monthly and quarterly reconciliations, including root-cause analysis, timely resolution, and variance reduction
- Oversee freight payment operations, ensuring accurate processing, vendor remittance, and adherence to internal standards and procedures
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Accounting, Internal Audit, Operations, Supply Chain) to strengthen controls and resolve high-risk reconciliation issues
- Monitor, track, and report reconciliation item aging, ensuring service level targets are met and escalation procedures are followed
- Drive process optimization and continuous improvement through automation, system enhancements, and standardized workflows
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and external audit standards (including SOX, where applicable)
- Develop, coach, and mentor team members to build leadership capabilities and technical expertise
- Prepare and present operational and financial KPIs to leadership, clearly distinguishing internal management metrics from external performance indicators
- Serve as a primary escalation point for inventory control and freight payment related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, finance, or a related area
- 3+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong background in inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and internal controls
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOX and/or internal audit processes
- Understanding of freight payment processes, vendor management, and remittance reporting
- Process-driven mindset with experience developing KPIs, SOPs, and governance models
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
- Professional working proficiency in English
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
