We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Permanent Inventory Control Manager to join our fast-growing manufacturing team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forecasting, apparel, footwear, and supply chain management. They will also need to have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

As the Inventory Control Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing and managing the entire inventory control process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times.
2. Developing and implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.
3. Using forecasting tools and methodologies to predict future inventory needs.
4. Collaborating with the production and sales teams to align inventory levels with production schedules and sales forecasts.
5. Conducting regular inventory audits and providing detailed reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and adjustments.
6. Identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies in the inventory control process.
7. Providing leadership and guidance to the inventory control team, ensuring they are properly trained and motivated.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
9. Working closely with other departments to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.
10. Continually seeking ways to improve the inventory control process and increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Inventory Control Manager role, candidates must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive experience with forecasting, apparel, footwear, and supply chain management.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency with inventory management software and other relevant technology.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
9. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
