Job Title : Inventory Control Clerk
Location : Chicago, IL
Timing : 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Description :

Developing the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and achieve short- and long-term performance goals.
Communicating cross-functionally to assist the team in resolving operational issues.
Accountable for an operations unit and sharing supervision of hourly reports during off shifts.
Working with the hourly team to understand efficiencies, yields, and costs to improve production efficiency.
Serving as a liaison with other teams to coordinate plant workflows.
Working with hourly maintenance personnel to ensure machine and facility repairs are complete and effective.
Monitoring and leading Quality Assurance, GMP, HACCP, allergen, sanitation, and housekeeping practices.
Ensuring the hourly team understands quality requirements and takes appropriate QA actions.
Supporting warehouse operational plans and targets related to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Engagement goals.
Coaching Line Leaders and communicating plans, priorities, and KPIs to employees.
Managing change and transformation during IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma) implementation.

Qualifications :

Relevant work experience in warehouse and/or production operations, inventory management, and handling material movement equipment.
Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience in ERP (SAP) systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
Capability to work as a Team Leader, including developing team goals, managing IDPs, and coaching team members.
