Cardiovascular Technologist Highlights:
??? Schedule Options: 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, varied as needed (2 Fridays/month); 24-hour weekend call day every month; 3 weeknight call shifts (7:30pm???7am) per month; 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
??? Pay Range: $70-80 Hourly

Cardiovascular Technologist Responsibilities:
??? Assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures as indicated
??? Scrubs in for diagnostic, cardiac interventional, and peripheral procedures
??? Provides care for adult and geriatric patients during procedures
??? Prepares patients for examinations
??? Functions in multiple roles including case recorder, cardiac circulator, and scrub assistant
??? Reports clinical changes in patient condition to RN or physician
??? Performs point-of-care testing per CLIA guidelines as needed
??? Documents procedures accurately, including labeling studies, recording procedure details, and entering charges
??? Reports equipment malfunctions and assists with general departmental duties
??? Maintains clean work areas and replenishes supplies
??? Adheres to sterile technique and infection prevention standards

Cardiovascular Technologist Qualifications:
??? Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology
??? Demonstrated expertise in CVT technical skills, including knowledge of catheters, wires, stents, and related supplies
??? BLS certification required
??? Strong competencies in ownership, teamwork, communication, and compassion supporting patient satisfaction and service excellence
??? Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Invasive Technologist preferred (diagnostic, cardiac, and peripheral interventional procedures)
??? RCIS certification preferred
??? ACLS certification preferred
