Our International Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in managing a complex, multi-jurisdictional tax footprint while working alongside a sharp, collaborative finance team. If you thrive at the intersection of global tax strategy and hands-on compliance, this is your seat at the table.
Job Details
As our client's International Tax Manager, you'll own a wide scope of international tax responsibilities, including:
Managing international tax compliance across multiple foreign jurisdictions, including preparation and review of foreign income tax returns and transfer pricing documentation
Overseeing the company's ASC 740 (income tax provision) process for international operations, including tax accounting for subsidiaries worldwide
Leading transfer pricing strategy, policy development, and intercompany agreement maintenance to ensure compliance with OECD guidelines and local country requirements
Supporting global tax planning initiatives including restructurings, M&A transactions, and repatriation strategies
Monitoring and advising on the impact of international tax law changes (Pillar Two, BEAT, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F) on the company's global tax position
Collaborating with legal, treasury, and finance teams on cross-border transactions and structuring
Managing relationships with external tax advisors and local country tax authorities
Identifying and driving process improvements within the international tax function
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred
7+ years of international tax experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and multinational corporate tax preferred
Deep knowledge of U.S. international tax rules (Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTCs) and foreign tax compliance
Experience with ASC 740 income tax provisions for international operations
Strong transfer pricing background, including documentation and planning
Familiarity with Pillar Two / OECD BEPS framework
Experience in the oil & gas, energy, or oilfield services industry is a plus
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
