Job Title: Internal Medicine Physician
Overview:
Join our dedicated team as an Internal Medicine Physician at MultiCare Yakima Memorial's IM clinic, MultiCare Memorial Cornerstone Medicine. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a well-resourced environment, including a collaborative team of healthcare professionals and on-site specialty services such as GI, Endocrinology, lab, pharmacy, dietitians, and diabetes education. As a vital member of our team, you will help improve health outcomes and serve our community with compassion and expertise.
Required Skills:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Excellent clinical skills and strong patient communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in outpatient primary care
- Familiarity with EMR platforms
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Additional certifications such as ACLS or BLS
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of clinical practice in a primary care or internal medicine setting
- Demonstrated experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Other Requirements:
- Ability to begin assignment ASAP following credentialing
- Willingness to participate in in-basket message coverage
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care during scheduled hours
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break
