Join Our Team as an Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Specialist

This position offers a balanced schedule, allowing you to provide top-quality care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state.
- Proven experience managing outpatient hematology and oncology cases.
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent diagnostic skills.
- Exceptional patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with outpatient clinic management software.
- Additional certification in palliative care or supportive oncology.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with EHR systems used in outpatient settings.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Residency or fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in outpatient hematology and oncology care.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Other Requirements:
- On-site presence 3-4 days per week, two weeks per month.
- No inpatient work, procedures, or call responsibilities.
- All inpatient referrals directed to Wausau (tertiary care center).
- Commitment to maintaining required certifications and licensure.
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional travel for professional development or certification purposes is a plus.
