Required Skills:
- Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine with subspecialization in Hematology and Oncology
- Proven clinical experience in outpatient hematology and oncology care
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Licensure in Washington State or eligibility for licensure in WA
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in outpatient clinic settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Additional certifications in oncology or hematology
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in hematology and oncology
- Active medical license in Washington or ability to obtain one expediently
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work full-time from May through August, with potential extension
- Commitment to working Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no call responsibilities
- Willingness to work additional hours beyond 40 per week for overtime compensation
- Flexibility to accommodate three-week work periods, preferred
- Must adhere to all applicable state, federal, and local regulations and certifications
Compensation for this role is an attractive $1.00 per hour, supplemented with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, referral bonuses, licensure and travel reimbursement, and paid sick time.
