The Engineering Intern will perform engineering work that requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.


Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers and technical specialist in design and project management activities to complete plans, designs, cost estimates, change management activities and construction management related to the construction, operation, and emphasis on safety, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Perform design work, field verification and assist in the planning and coordination of recommended changes, possibly including start-up of new equipment.
  • Ensure project documentation (drawings, design notes, quotes, etc.) are correctly stored into the electronic database on a timely basis.
  • Interact with Engineering, Production Supervision, and Environmental groups on special project or task.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of data acquisition methods.
  • Willing to be hands-on in manufacturing facility.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and a team player.
  • Computer proficiency in all Microsoft Office Software.
