Intermediate Structural Engineer | Environmental, Wastewater, and Industrial projects

Description:
Immediate need for a Structural Engineer for design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and specialty structures, as well as pipe and civil engineering design of wastewater facilities, sewers, etc. HYBRID SCHEDULE.
Responsibilities:
- Design includes Structural Analysis and Design of Concrete, Masonry, and specialty structures.
- Piping and Civil Engineering design for wastewater plants, sewers, etc.
- Develop structural drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate drawing production between the different disciplines.
- Attend internal meetings.
- Prepare calculations for renovations as well as new construction.
- Review shop drawings as well as other aspects of design during the construction process.
- 5 years + experience in Structural Engineering and Design related to water treatment plants, buildings, and specialty industrial structures.
- BS Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on Structural Engineering.
- Understanding of building codes and references.
- Knowledge of construction drawing standards.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Attention to detail; highly organized.
- Self-starter; able to multitask.
