Insurance Sales Manager - Insurance - Base Salary to 250k/year - Phoenix, AZ

• Our client is looking to hire an Insurance Sales Manager (internally titled Commercial Trucking Sales Manager) within their Commercial Trucking Division to establish and scale their Phoenix office. The goal is to focus on their West Coast presence as they have an established East Coast presence.
  
• This role provides a clear path toward regional leadership and organizational ownership opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Establish, grow, and manage the Phoenix sales team, including hiring producers, sales leads, and sales managers to support growth.
  
• Oversee and improve key funnel metrics such as lead flow, quote rate, and bind rate. Ensure sales processes are followed, pipelines are managed effectively, and conversion goals are met.
  
• Design and drive both inbound and outbound sales motions, balancing lead intake with proactive prospecting to expand the agency’s reach.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in trucking insurance with a strong focus on non-fleet accounts (1–9 power units).
  
• 2+ years of experience managing, coaching, or leading junior producers.
  
• Experience with both inbound and outbound sales strategies.
  
• The ideal candidate will be a senior producer-turned-leader who has coached others and wants to focus primarily on organizational leadership and team growth.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 200k - 250k/year range (flexible dependent on experience)
  
• Bonus plus commission structure
