Job Details
What You Can Expect
- Fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the United States

Job Duties
- Support 2 attorneys in insurance defense matters involving construction defect
- Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence
- Assist with discovery including document production, interrogatories, and requests for production
- Maintain and organize case files and litigation databases
- Coordinate filings in California state courts and federal courts
- Manage litigation calendars and track court deadlines
- Assist with deposition preparation, expert coordination, and trial preparation
- Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and case summaries for hearings and trial
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Conduct legal research and assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation strategy
- Manage 1620 annual billable hours
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of litigation paralegal experience supporting defense matters
- Prior experience in insurance defense required
- Strong experience with California state court procedures and filings required
- Experience supporting complex litigation matters required
- Familiarity with federal court filings preferred
- ABA approved paralegal certificate strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with attorneys across multiple offices
