Job Details
We are seeking a skilled **Lateral Insurance Defense Attorney** to join our team in Oklahoma City. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator looking to handle a diverse insurance defense caseload in a highly respected and collaborative environment.
Job Description:
* Manage a broad insurance defense docket, including motor vehicle, premises liability, bad faith, and construction cases
* Handle all aspects of litigation from initial case assessment through trial or resolution
* Draft and argue motions, prepare discovery, take depositions, and appear in court
* Provide strategic counsel to clients while ensuring efficient case management
* Collaborate with partners and associates in a supportive team setting
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Active Oklahoma bar license in good standing
* 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation preferred
* Strong advocacy, writing, and analytical skills
* Proven ability to handle cases independently
