SUMMARY:
 
As an Insulation installer, you use specialized equipment to install foam insulation in walls. You can work in both residential and commercial buildings. Your duties include using a hose and compressor to spray insulation between walls and building exteriors.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
 
  • Install all types of insulation including spray foam, cellulose, and fiberglass.
  • Operate equipment and ensure it’s maintained in good working condition.
  • Stay on schedule and complete projects efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service and take pride in high-quality installations.
  • Work safely and respectfully with team members.
  • Flexibility and proficiency in all insulation products offered by The Green Cocoon.
  • Lead and coordinate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain quality standards
 
Requirements:
  • No facial hair on cheeks and neck due to respirator use.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
  • Able to work on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Must be able to work overtime and occasionally out of town when the job requires.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Able to work in cold and extreme heat.
  • Able to operate forklift.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Construction or painting experience preferred, but not limited to fiberglass batting, spray foam, blown-in, or airless paint sprayer.
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills while striving to work safely at all times.
  • Must be able to work in the US.
  • Must speak English. Bilingual is a plus.
 
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: 
  • This Job Isn't for You If:
  • You’re not comfortable working in various environments like attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
  • You’re unable to work on ladders, scaffolding, or operate a forklift.
  • You don’t have a valid driver’s license or a clean driving record.
  • You can’t work overtime or out of town when the job requires.

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED
 
Pay Rate:
  • Competitive Pay: $23.00 - $29.00/hour depending on experience
