Now Hiring: Instructional Assistant (Autism Support)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? The Riley Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Assistant to support students with autism in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with autism across academic and social settings.

• Support students in developing communication, social, and self-regulation skills

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment

• Provide direct assistance with classroom activities, transitions, and adaptive routines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a classroom environment (preferred)

• Experience supporting students with autism or other developmental differences (preferred)

• Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to student success

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in special education or child development is a plus.  RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) also favorable!
