Role Overview
Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Institutional Capital Analysts.
This is not a traditional employment role. Institutional Capital Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.
Once approved, Institutional Capital Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to paid institutional capital analysis and transaction support work
Support institutional investors and fund managers across fundraising, allocation, and deal evaluation
Build a verified institutional transaction and capital track record with an Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers:
Senior Institutional Capital Analyst · Lead Institutional Capital Analyst · Institutional Capital Analyst / Associate
Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges
Senior Institutional Capital Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–200/hour
Typical Background:
Former investment banking, institutional asset management, private equity, capital advisory, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of experience working with institutional investors
Lead Institutional Capital Analyst
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–150/hour
Typical Background:
Finance professionals with 3–5 years of experience in institutional investing, fund analysis, capital markets, or advanced financial modeling
Institutional Capital Analyst / Associate
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–100/hour
Typical Background:
Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical, modeling, and institutional research skills
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)
Depending on certification approvals, Institutional Capital Analysts may support the following activities:
Institutional Investment & Allocation Analysis
Fund and manager evaluation (PE, VC, private credit, real assets)
Institutional portfolio and allocation analysis
Risk/return profiling and benchmarking
Strategy fit and mandate alignment analysis
Capital Raising & Investor Support
LP presentation and fundraising materials support
Track record analysis and performance reporting
Data room review and institutional diligence support
Capital deployment and pacing analysis
Financial Modeling & Valuation
Fund-level and asset-level financial models
DCF, LBO, and portfolio return modeling
Sensitivity and scenario analysis
Comparable fund and transaction analysis
Football field valuation summaries (where applicable)
Due Diligence & Investment Support
Quality of Earnings (QoE) review support
Financial, operational, and strategic diligence
Risk assessment and downside analysis
Investment committee and capital memo support
Analysts may only perform work in categories they are explicitly approved for.
Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.
How Analysts Start Earning
Complete the Institutional Capital Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training
Receive category-specific approvals (Institutional Analysis, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)
Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly institutional projects and live capital work
No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified analysts are actively promoted to institutional investors, fund managers, and capital allocators across the Initio Sphere ecosystem.
Certification & Eligibility
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Analyst Rating Score
Each Institutional Capital Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Visibility to institutional investors and fund managers
Approved institutional analysis and support categories
Recommended hourly compensation levels
Compensation & Deal Economics
Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates are determined by Rating Score and approval level
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality, performance, or compliance issues

Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or broker-dealer capacity
All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and institutional capital support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
