Installation Technician

- Heavy Lifting & Rigging: Ability to safely maneuver 300+ lb equipment using pallet jacks and dollies. Comfortable working in tight spaces to access internal components.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient with basic hand and power tools (drills, socket sets, wrenches). Experience clearing mechanical jams or performing basic repairs is essential.
- The "Venue Ready" Standard: Must pass a comprehensive background check for badge access to high-security malls and airports.
- Road Warrior: Valid California Driver’s License with a clean record. You will be traveling daily to sites across the territory.
- Flexible Schedule: Installations often occur during "off-peak" hours (early mornings or late nights). You must be comfortable with a schedule that shifts based on rollout needs.
- Precision Installation: Lead the on-site deployment of commercial massage chairs at car washes, malls, hotels, and residential buildings. Ensure every chair is securely bolted, powered, and connectivity-tested.
- 3PL Coordination: Act as the point of contact for our third-party warehouse. Coordinate delivery windows to ensure equipment is on-site and ready for you to install.
- Technical Uptime: Perform ongoing monitoring and on-site maintenance. You are the first responder for hardware or software issues, ensuring 100% uptime for our partners.
- Yield Optimization: Partner with the PDA team to analyze chair performance. You’ll lead the technical "re-positioning" or adjustments needed to maximize results.
Venue Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of conduct in high-security venues, ensuring our installation process is seamless and respects the partner’s operations.
You are the technical closer. While our Partnership Development Associates (PDAs) find the venues, you ensure the hardware is deployed perfectly and stays operational. You will coordinate with our 3rd-party logistics (3PL) partners for equipment delivery and take over on-site to perform the final rigging, bolting, and technical commissioning.
This is a Full-Time Hourly role that rewards precision, hustle, and technical problem-solving. You'll be rewarded:
- Hourly Pay: A competitive base rate ($26-$30/hr) with 1.5x Overtime for work over 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week.
- Team Deployment Bonus: Quarterly bonuses when the California team hits its total rollout targets.
- Full Support: Comprehensive mileage reimbursement for all field travel and a "builder" tool kit provided by the company.
