We are seeking a skilled, service-oriented Installation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will travel extensively to customer sites Nationwide to conduct surveys, support equipment installations, and ensure systems meet specifications and quality standards. You will serve as a trusted resource for customers, guiding them on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Meritech, CFS, and related products. Additionally, you will help identify opportunities for product growth, coordinate with the Sales Team, and contribute to process improvements that enhance installation efficiency and overall customer satisfaction.

What You Do
A typical day as Installation Specialist might include:
- Traveling to customer sites in and out of state to conduct surveys, support installation of Meritech and CFS equipment, and ensure systems are operating to manufacturer specifications.
- Performing onsite duties assigned by the Technical Service Manager and serving as a resource to help customers understand equipment functionality, maintenance requirements, and proper use.
- Providing onsite training or workshops for customer teams to ensure product knowledge, education, and safe operation.
- Identifying opportunities for additional Meritech and CFS products, building relationships on site, and coordinating with the Sales Team to support growth.
- Troubleshooting and correcting equipment malfunctions or defects, documenting issues in our CRM, and reporting findings to Operations.
- Coordinating installations remotely when direct onsite support isn’t possible, including communication with customers and local service providers such as plumbers.
- Assisting with technical support for Meritech, Lafferty, and Knight products as requests arise.
- Reviewing design specifications to understand product scope, requirements, and functionality.
- Ensuring products meet quality and integrity standards while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of protective equipment.
- Maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and communicating needs to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Supporting root cause analysis for product defects and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Using various machines and hand tools to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
What We Offer
As a Meritech team member, you’ll receive:
- $60,000 - $65,000 annual salary to start, payroll every other Thursday.

- 3 weeks annually of paid-time-off and sick leave accrual, with increases based on tenure.

Job Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experienced with plumbing, mechanical, and electrical operations (2+ years preferred).
- Familiar with machine maintenance.
- Willing and able to travel regularly for work, up to 100% of the time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Skilled at communication to clearly and professionally articulate expectations and needs with customers.
- Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and basic mathematics, (high school diploma or GED equivalent).
- In possession of an active, valid driver's license.
- Able to regularly perform the following physical requirements, with or without accommodations:
- Frequently: Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to evaluate, test, and modify equipment with or without hand tools as needed.
- Frequently: Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
- Frequently: Prolonged periods of standing and moving about in various customer environments
- Occasionally: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Occasionally: Must be able to crouch, bend, and lean to inspect equipment.
