Job Title: Inside Sales Support                                        Reports to: VP of Sales

Employment Status: Full Time              FLSA: Exempt             Location: Remote/Hybrid

 

 

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Support role provides essential administrative and coordination support to the sales team to ensure efficient daily operations and successful achievement of sales goals. This position is responsible for managing communications, maintaining accurate records, organizing schedules, assisting with customer interactions, and supporting internal processes to enhance overall team productivity and customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage correspondence, schedule meetings, and maintain calendars for the sales team.
  • Prepare and organize sales-related documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems.
  • Assist with processing quotes, sales orders, and invoices.
  • Provide timely responses to customers and route inquiries to the appropriate representative.
  • Track orders to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Support lead generation activities and coordinate follow-ups.
  • Collect and analyze sales data to assist in decision-making.
  • Conduct research on market trends and competitor activity as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and streamline communication.
  • Organize logistics for team meetings, training sessions, and special events.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (such as Salesforce).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving abilities.
  • Effective listening and sales support skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in inside sales, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Familiarity with order processing and sales documentation workflows.
  • Knowledge of basic sales metrics and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.
  • Background in a technical or manufacturing-related industry (recommended based on your company’s field).
