Infusion Pharmacist
Location: Apex, NC
Pay: $64.27/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday with rotating shifts
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
On-Call: Evening and weekend on-call coverage required
Position Type: Contract to Hire

A-Line Staffing is hiring an Infusion Pharmacist for an onsite opportunity in Apex, North Carolina . This role is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in home infusion, sterile compounding, and clinical oversight who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable supporting both patient care and pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage home infusion therapies through clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and operational workflow support
- Review referrals for appropriateness, including drug, dose, route, and lab requirements
- Complete new patient starts and refill processing
- Perform medication reconciliation and provide patient counseling
- Monitor lab-dependent therapies and coordinate care with providers and nursing teams
- Enter prescriptions accurately and maintain complete documentation
- Support claim adjudication and workflow efficiency
- Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications
- Ensure proper labeling, lot tracking, and compliance with USP standards
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support production and delivery workflows
- Maintain inventory and ensure timely, safe medication dispensing and delivery
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing required
- Experience in home infusion, sterile compounding, or IV therapy preferred
- Strong knowledge of USP standards and sterile compounding practices
- Experience with clinical review, patient counseling, and medication management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in Apex, NC
- Ability to support rotating shifts and evening/weekend on-call coverage
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using CPR+ for managing home infusion therapies
- Previous experience in a fast-paced home infusion environment
- Experience supervising pharmacy technicians
