Position Overview
Infrastructure Fund Analysts support investment teams by performing financial analysis, market research, and portfolio monitoring for infrastructure-focused funds.
The role blends quantitative modeling, project-level and fund-level insights, and deal support in fast-paced private capital and infrastructure investment environments. Analysts collaborate closely with investment professionals, asset managers, and project teams to evaluate opportunities and support fund execution.
Key Responsibilities
Build financial models and valuations for infrastructure projects and funds (e.g., energy, transportation, utilities)
Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including technical, financial, and regulatory considerations
Support sourcing, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure equity and debt investments
Track portfolio performance, including cash flows, P&L, and key operational metrics
Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reporting materials for senior management and investment committees
Monitor market trends, policy developments, and infrastructure sector performance to inform investment strategy
Develop and maintain dashboards, analytical tools, and reports for investment insights
Identify process improvements and efficiencies in deal tracking, reporting, and portfolio management
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of infrastructure investing, private capital, or project finance
Experience or coursework in financial modeling, valuation, or infrastructure project analysis (preferred but not required)
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Python, SQL, or specialized modeling software is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments
Interest in infrastructure markets, sustainable investments, and alternative asset strategies
