Senior Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer to help maintain and optimize a unified data platform supporting finance and operations teams. This role focuses on Snowflake performance, data orchestration, and Python-based data solutions, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable data systems.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain data orchestrations, variables, notifications, and retries
Optimize Snowflake performance, including warehouse sizing, clustering, and query profiling
Implement data quality checks including freshness validation, row counts, reconciliation, and referential integrity
Monitor and control platform costs using usage dashboards and governance guardrails
Develop and publish Power BI datasets and reporting models used by Finance and Operations
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver data solutions
Develop and support Python-based data applications and services
Required Qualifications
35 years of Data Engineering experience
Strong SQL and relational database expertise
2+ years of Snowflake administration and performance tuning
Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines and workflows
Strong Python development experience for data processing and automation
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
