Summary:
The Information Technology/ Management (IT/IM) System Administer provides advanced technical, network, and system support for a wide range of Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) operations and associated mission partners. This role ensures the integrity, security, and functionality of systems, applications, and communication equipment supporting ECMM and multiple operational units.
Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:

- Provide software and system support for Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) users
- Troubleshoot and resolve access issues for the Application Virtualization Hosting Environment (AVHE) and DMLSS systems
- Deliver network and technical support across multiple mission areas, including Joint Staff/CRE CBRN Response Enterprise, CompSupCen, CERP/HRF, MEMRT Team, 90 Medical Groups, 9 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadrons (AES), ANGRC/CCY, and Surgeon General MOU Laptop Inventory
- Perform imaging, software installation, security patching, diagnostics, and repair of laptops, desktops, and related equipment
- Conduct equipment inventory, system compliance checks, virus scans, service pack installations, hot fixes, and system upgrades for DMLSS environments
- Manage configuration analysis, development, and integration for server, laptop, desktop, and switch-based systems
- Maintain and support computer hardware, land mobile radios, satellite phones, and other communication equipment
- Administer networking functions including configuration, diagnosing issues, updating systems, and developing technical solutions
- Coordinate with Base Communications and/or vendor-specific support to resolve issues across all information technologies supporting ECMM
- Support documentation, reporting, and tracking of equipment, configurations, and system statuses
- Assist with continuous improvement of IT processes, procedures, and security compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and asset-specific software
- DMLSS
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology required
- DoD Information Assurance baseline certifications: A+ and Security+ (minimum requirement)
- Minimum 10 years of field experience with commensurate skills, knowledge, and background relevant to the position
- Experience supporting complex IT systems, networks, hardware, and communication devices in DoD environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment is preferred
