With a small, close-knit team, zero micromanagement, and a flexible schedule, this is a perfect role for a self-starter looking to work with cutting-edge gas process equipment in a territory already rich with existing relationships.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Sales Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, or equivalent military technical experience (especially in electronics or control systems)
- Prior experience with natural gas regulators, valves, control equipment, or automation systems
- Conducting technical sales calls, job site visits, and field audits with existing utility and industrial clients
- Preparing job-specific proposals, reviewing technical specs, and coordinating manufacturer quotations
- Providing hands-on product training, light commissioning, and field troubleshooting support
- Ability to travel 30–40% within territory (company vehicle and expenses provided)
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check (no felonies); valid driver’s license required
Salary: Base $70,000 - $100,000 per year plus commission, commensurate with experience.
