Are you a hands-on Industrial PLC Programmer / Controls Technician with deep Rockwell/Allen Bradley expertise and a passion for cutting-edge automation? Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial PLC Programmer / Controls Technician position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of industrial automation experience – Design, develop, test, and commission PLC/HMI control systems at client facilities
- Strong Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC programming (ControlLogix) – Program ladder logic, structured text, and sequential function blocks for large-scale systems
- HMI development experience (FactoryTalk View SE/ME, RSView, PanelBuilder) – Develop and deploy server/client HMI applications
- Experience with Ethernet/IP (DeviceNet, DH+, RIO beneficial) – Integrate and troubleshoot industrial communication networks
- Commissioning and start-up expertise – Lead on-site system testing, debugging, and operator training
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics – Support electrical design and system integration efforts
- Experience managing projects and subcontractors – Execute projects on-site while interfacing directly with customers
- Willingness to travel up to 40% (occasionally up to 50%) – Support installations nationwide with typical travel limited to two weeks at a time
Salary: $38 to $50 per hour plus overtime
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k) with up to 4% match, paid overtime at 1.5x beyond 40 hours, bi-monthly payroll, $75 per diem during travel, hotel and airfare coverage, rental car or mileage reimbursement, flexible unpaid time off, and PTO starting at 2 weeks with increases based on tenure (up to 6 weeks maximum).
