Industrial Plant Maintenance Technician

Assist the Plant Maintenance Coordinator on a daily basis.
Primary duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Maintaining and cleaning facilities, equipment, and the environment
- Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of equipment, tools and parts. Cleaning and organizing the shop area.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting maintenance issues
- Communicating with supervisors on the maintenance status of equipment and facilities
- Managing the routine upkeep of outdoor areas, building exteriors, and parking lot
- Able to operate a skid steer and/or payloader for snow removal during winter months.
Skills and qualifications:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Good organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of the building’s occupants
- Ability to interpret maintenance instructions, manuals, safety rules, and other documents
Maintenance Assistant candidates need general maintenance experience to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role. Candidates should have at least one (1) year experience as a Maintenance Assistant or in a similar role. They must also be familiar with sourcing parts and services for repair and maintenance work.
Experience with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing systems is a plus for candidates but not a requirement. Valid Driver's license and be able to be insured with our insurance company. MUST HAVE A GOOD ATTENDANCE RECORD.

Job Type: Full-time Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
STARTING PAY: $23-26/HOUR DOE
