Job Summary

Pharmaron-Coventry is seeking a licensed and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing plants, laboratories, and associated facilities at the Coventry, RI campus. This role is responsible for performing proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance, repairs, and project work with a high degree of precision in a regulated industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment and facility assets
• Execute pipefitting and welding tasks to support plant operations and capital projects
• Maintain rotating equipment, pharmaceutical process systems, HVAC, and steam systems
• Read and follow procedures, drawings, and work instructions
• Accurately document maintenance activities in a CMMS
• Comply with OSHA and EHS regulations, including LOTO and hot work requirements
• Participate in confined space entries and serve on the emergency response team
• Support a rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency call-ins as needed

Required Qualifications

• Licensed welder with pipefitting certification (structural welding experience preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in pipefitting and welding across various materials of construction
• Experience working in a GMP or other highly regulated environment
• Knowledge of rotating equipment including pumps, seals, and agitators
• Familiarity with HVAC and steam systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures
• Ability to work in an industrial environment, including walking, climbing ladders, kneeling, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Medically cleared to wear required PPE (respirators, hearing protection, Tyvek suits, etc.)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Salary Range: $35-55/HR; Non-Exempt; Overtime Eligible; 1st Shift
