Job Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial, electrical, and mechanical equipment. This role ensures machinery operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting overall production goals. The position involves preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and emergency repairs.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and diagnostic tests on machinery and equipment
  • Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance logs and reports
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic tools
  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery to repair or replace defective parts
  • Perform emergency repairs to restore equipment quickly
  • Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Install and calibrate new machinery and equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams during installations
  • Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
  • Train production staff on routine maintenance and safety procedures
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician, mechanic, or similar role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with PLCs and control systems is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
