We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Maintenance Manager to join our manufacturing team. As an integral part of our organization, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage a diverse team of maintenance professionals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Manager will be pivotal in the management of equipment maintenance, inventory, and ensuring that all safety regulations are adhered to. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry (ideally automotive or metals).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of maintenance professionals to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Oversee and manage the preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of equipment.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Program and maintain PLC systems to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Ensure all operations align with health and safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity within the maintenance department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any maintenance-related issues.
  • Manage and oversee the budget for the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment - strong CNC experience REQUIRED.
  • Proven experience in leadership and team management.
  • Proficiency in preventive and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
  • Experience in training and development of a diverse team.
  • Strong skills in process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
