Our client, a next-generation AI-enabled manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Industrial Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering department supporting Operations, Automation Engineering, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Florence, Kentucky (On-site)
Pay Range: Competitive; based on experience

 

What’s the Job?

  • Analyze automated assembly workflows, line balance, and workstation performance to improve efficiency
  • Evaluate cycle times, throughput, yield, and downtime to optimize labor and equipment utilization
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods
  • Design and recommend equipment layouts, material flow, and workstation configurations
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and automation upgrades for scalable manufacturing

 

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including process mapping and time studies
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and ability to interpret engineering documentation
