Staff Management | SMX has an immediate opening for a Carpenter Handyman in Asheboro, NC. We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated applicant to assist with long-term projects in an Industrial setting. For this role, you must have experience using hand tools, framing, sheet rock, dry wall, painting, roofing, and basic plumbing. Pay depends on experience and will be discussed in the interview.
Shift Information:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with occasional overtime

Duties:
As a Carpenter Handyman, you will:
- Assist with projects around the plant that involve painting, trim, baseboard, drywall, laying carpet, tile, sheet rock, framing, wood flooring, and plumbing.
- Operate multiple types of hand tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Follow safety procedures and protocols in all work performed.
Position Requirements:
We need employees who can work on projects in a manufacturing setting. They must be able to operate multiple types of hand tools, work with little supervision, and work safely while following all safety protocols.
Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: No Education Requirement.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.00 - $24.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
