Job Details
As an Industrial Automation Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing a wide range of automated industrial equipment. This includes both mechanical systems and sophisticated controls—think PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and various drive technologies. The role balances hands-on repairs with programming and diagnostics, offering a dynamic workday and plenty of technical variety.
This is a second shift position with Mon-Fri schedule:
2pm - 10pm
What You’ll Do:
Troubleshoot and modify PLCs, HMIs, and motor drive systems
Work with systems from Siemens, Lenze, Schneider Electric, and similar platforms
Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including large-scale industrial equipment
Execute preventive maintenance using CMMS tools
Maintain accurate documentation and follow standard procedures
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive uptime and efficiency
Participate in an on-call rotation for weekend coverage
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with industrial automation and control systems
PLC programming skills across multiple platforms
Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical schematics
Mechanical aptitude and experience with large-scale equipment
Familiarity with motion control and drive systems
Comfort working independently and as part of a team
Must supply your own tools
