Founding Implementation Specialist

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000 base + equity

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed startup that is transforming how businesses automate complex operational workflows using artificial intelligence. The company has raised significant venture funding and is experiencing rapid customer growth across the U.S.

As the organization continues scaling, they are hiring their first Implementation Specialist to build and own the customer onboarding experience from the ground up. This is a high-impact role working directly with the founding team to ensure new customers successfully implement the platform and begin realizing value immediately.

If you enjoy working with customers, solving technical onboarding challenges, and helping shape processes at an early-stage company, this is a unique opportunity to have a major influence on customer success and product feedback.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new B2B SaaS customers, primarily serving small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Lead 3–5 onboarding sessions per day, guiding customers through technical configuration and platform setup.
  • Assist customers with technical integrations such as email systems, financial accounts, and other operational tools.
  • Act as a project manager during implementation, coordinating with customer stakeholders including operations leaders, executives, and technical teams.
  • Serve as a product expert, explaining system capabilities, integrations, and security considerations to build trust with clients.
  • Identify onboarding friction points and provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve the implementation experience.
  • Develop scalable onboarding practices and documentation as the customer base grows.

What We’re Looking For

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing implementation, onboarding, or solutions role at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience managing multiple customer implementations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Background working with SMB customers is strongly preferred
  • Experience in high-growth technology companies, particularly in fintech, payroll, or similar operational software environments, is a plus

Skills
  • Experience supporting technical integrations or system configurations (such as email, APIs, DNS, or similar tools)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities when working with customer leadership teams

  • Customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments where processes are evolving
  • Proactive communicator who can drive timelines and follow up effectively
