A bit about us:
We are expanding and seeking a high-performing Immigration Attorney with 2+ years of experience who is ready to take ownership of complex cases and grow into a leadership role within the firm.
This is not a passive associate role. We are looking for someone who can who can analyze, develop strategy, and make final legal decisions on complex immigration matters, particularly in asylum, removal defense, and federal habeas litigation support.
You will work directly with the managing attorney and a already strong litigation team, with a clear path to leadership as the firm continues to scale and you demonstrate the ability to independently manage and drive complex cases.
What You’ll Do
- Handle asylum and removal defense cases from intake through trial
- Represent clients in Immigration Court (EOIR), including Master Calendar Hearings (MCH), Individual Hearings (ICH), bond hearings, and contested proceedings
- Review and finalize filings prepared by junior attorneys and paralegals
- Develop case strategy and make final legal decisions on complex matters
- Assist with or oversee federal habeas corpus petitions and urgent detention matters
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff as the team grows

Job Details
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state (in good standing).
2+ years of immigration law experience, with demonstrated experience handling asylum or humanitarian relief cases (preferred).
Experience appearing before USCIS, EOIR, and BIA strongly preferred.
Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong client communication and cultural competency, with the ability to work with vulnerable populations.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (Hindi or Punjabi) are a must
