ICHRA Client Manager

The ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement) Client Manager is responsible for managing and supporting Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS) clients who utilize ICHRA solutions. This role involves providing tailored insurance solutions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional client service. The ICHRA Client Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing management of ICHRA plans.
How you'll make an impact:Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for clients utilizing ICHRA solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and goals.
- Provide proactive communication and updates regarding plan performance, compliance, and industry trends.
ICHRA Plan Implementation:
- Collaborate with clients to design and implement tailored ICHRA plans that align with their organizational goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and setup of ICHRA solutions.
- Educate clients on ICHRA regulations, eligibility requirements, and plan options.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all ICHRA plans comply with federal and state regulations, including ACA (Affordable Care Act) requirements.
- Monitor changes in legislation and provide guidance to clients on necessary adjustments to their plans.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and reduce the total cost of risk for clients.
Client Support and Problem Resolution:
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues related to ICHRA administration, employee enrollment, and claims processing.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers or third-party administrators.
Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Analyze client data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in plan performance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients to develop long-term strategies for organizational wellbeing and employee benefits.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with Gallagher’s internal teams, including sales, account management, and compliance specialists, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices for ICHRA management.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related experience required.
- License required.
Preferred:
- Professional designation such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred.
- Excellent sales capabilities; outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in ICHRA plans or similar reimbursement arrangements.
- Strong knowledge of health insurance regulations, including ACA compliance.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word) and CRM tools.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
