A-Line Staffing is hiring an experienced I-9 Auditor to support HR compliance efforts. This role is responsible for reviewing and verifying Form I-9 documentation to ensure full compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act IRCA. The ideal candidate is highly detail oriented, organized, and experienced in employment eligibility verification processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough internal audits of employee Form I-9 documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations
• Review supporting documentation to confirm validity and adherence to I-9 requirements
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, or errors and partner with HR to implement timely corrective actions
• Help mitigate legal and compliance risks through proactive review and follow up
• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
• Manage multiple audits and deadlines with a strong sense of urgency

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR compliance or related field
• Hands on experience auditing Form I-9 documentation required
• Strong working knowledge of I-9 regulations, E Verify, and employment eligibility verification processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment and prioritize projects effectively
• High School Diploma required
