Hydro Maintenance Operator II

CTG is seeking to fill a Hydro Maintenance Operator II position for our client.
Location: Estacada, OR
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance at hydroelectric facilities
Conduct inspections, monitoring, and operational checks
Execute plant startup, shutdown, and restart activities
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
Install and replace equipment and components
Document work using maintenance management systems
Follow safety, regulatory, and operational procedures
Required Skills:
Mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise
Experience with power generation or industrial maintenance environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn CMMS (e.g., Faciliworks)
Ability to operate hand/power tools, heavy equipment, and testing devices
Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license
Experience & Education:
8+ years of maintenance/operations experience in power generation or similar industry
High school diploma or GED required
Trade school training preferred (or equivalent experience)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
