Volt is immediately hiring Hydraulic Technician in Riverside, CA

 As a Hydraulic Technician you will:

Job Description

  • Perform new product validation and production testing per HTL procedures and safety standards.

  • Set up, operate, and monitor test fixtures, instrumentation, and automated test systems.

  • Record test data, maintain logs, and prepare clear test reports.

  • Inspect parts and assemblies, document defects, and identify failure modes.

  • Analyze test results and provide evidence?based failure analysis to engineering teams.

  • Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to resolve technical issues.

  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration checks on test equipment.

  • Improve test setups, data collection processes, and documentation workflows.

  • Assist in designing, building, and validating custom test fixtures and equipment.

  • Repair and maintain test tanks, pumps, manifolds, piping, and mechanical/electrical components.

  • Support calibration verification to ensure measurement accuracy and compliance.

This is a full-time opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Required skills & Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED required; technical associate degree or certification preferred.

    • 3–5 years of relevant technical or testing experience.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and test procedures; working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

    • Proficient with computers and standard software tools.

    • Strong ability to understand instructions, interpret safety and operating documents, write reports, and communicate effectively with engineers and production teams.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to effectively use various electronic, hand, and power tools and test equipment. Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and test procedures. Ability to use precision measuring devices.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6::00AM - 2:30PM

Pay Rate: $28.00/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
