We are seeking a highly experienced Consulting Hybrid Healthcare Administrative Coordinator who can efficiently manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, with a focus on coordinating and managing departmental activities. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and triage incoming emails, ensuring all communications are promptly and appropriately addressed.
- Assign and enter staff schedules into scheduling platform, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
- Answer incoming calls, providing information and assistance as necessary.
- Request performance evaluations for staff and distribute incoming evaluations to the appropriate manager.
- Communicate staff absences or schedule changes to relevant departments.
- Remind staff of upcoming compliance deadlines, ensuring all staff are aware of and meet these deadlines.
- Schedule and coordinate departmental meetings, including preparing and distributing meeting agendas and transcribing meeting minutes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare administration.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience in a hospital setting or 2 years of administrative experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in coordinating and managing departmental activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
Please note that this role is not patient-facing and is not suitable for PSRs, front desk staff, call center representatives, patient access coordinators, claims examiners, or clinically focused coordinators. We are looking for candidates who are true Administrative Coordinators with a strong background in healthcare administration.
