Job Details
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations across multiple entities. This hybrid role combines hands-on accounting with strategic oversight, including multi-entity reporting, consolidations, and acquisition support. The ideal candidate will have expertise in combination accounting, intercompany transactions, and healthcare operations, while ensuring accurate, compliant financial reporting and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close.
Lead multi-entity consolidations with intercompany eliminations and combination accounting.
Support acquisition integrations and onboarding of new clinics.
Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition, expense allocation, and cash management.
Develop and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Support external audits, tax filings, and coordination with advisors.
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation tools, and systems enhancements.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably with multi-entity or consolidated reporting.
Expertise in QuickBooks Online (REQUIRED) and multi-entity accounting.
Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare accounting principles.
Experience with intercompany transactions, month-end close, and revenue cycle management.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, complex formulas).
Strong oral and written communication skills; detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Familiarity with Bill.com, ADP, & Live Flow.
Healthcare or clinical accounting experience preferred.
