HVAC Installer

1. Certified HVAC Installer (Journeyman / Lead Installer)

Contract to long-term hire. Pay is $50-$60/Hour

Primary Responsibility:
Execute commercial HVAC installations in compliance with engineered drawings, codes, and manufacturer specifications.

Key Duties:

• Install rooftop units, split systems, VRF/VRV, AHUs, exhaust systems, and associated components

• Read and interpret mechanical plans, schematics, and specifications

• Install ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate drainage, and insulation

• Perform equipment rigging coordination and setting

• Connect electrical, controls, and gas piping per code

• Pressure test, evacuate, charge, and start up systems

• Verify airflow, system performance, and commissioning readiness

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes

• Maintain jobsite safety and quality standards

• Coordinate daily tasks with the superintendent

Qualifications:

• EPA Universal Certification

• State HVAC certification or journeyman license (as applicable)

• Commercial installation experience (5+ years preferred)
