Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Field Technician position include:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC refrigeration (foodservice, gas, and kitchen equipment)
- EPA Universal Certification is required
- Complete 3–5 service calls daily; troubleshoot, service, and maintain commercial refrigeration and gas equipment
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and B2B client interaction skills (Spanish-speaking is a plus)
- Maintain a company-provided service van, tools, and inventory; dispatched from home
- Participate in quarterly training and occasional travel to company sites in Dallas or Illinois
- Comfortable working occasional overtime and rotating weekend on-call shifts
- Must be able to drive within assigned territory (typically 1–3 hours within region)
Salary: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance with 50% employee coverage, paid vacation starting at 1 week after 6 months, increasing with tenure, 401(k) with 4% match (including Roth IRA), paid holidays and birthday off, optional dental and vision coverage, and personal time off starting after 1 year. Company van is provided, and paid training is included.
