The Talent Acquisition Manager leads and oversees the full‑cycle recruitment function for Hattie Larlham, partnering closely with leadership to attract and hire top talent. This role drives creative, effective sourcing strategies, ensures a fair and compliant hiring process, and uses data and metrics to continuously improve outcomes. The Manager maintains accurate recruitment documentation, supports compliance with employment laws and accreditation standards, and helps shape and maintain HR policies that support a strong candidate and employee experience.

- Human Resources Talent Acquisition Manager
- Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday
- Location: Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, Mantua, OH. May require occasional travel within and outside of Ohio.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Source and attract qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, networking, referrals, events, schools, and branded recruitment campaigns.
- Supervise, coach, and train the Talent Acquisition team on full‑cycle recruiting, selection, compliance requirements, and onboarding best practices.
- Recruit, screen, interview, and select candidates for management, professional, and hard‑to‑fill roles as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, accreditation standards, and organizational employment policies throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Oversee the applicant tracking system, internal job board, and internal bid process to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
- Manage relationships with temporary staffing agencies, third‑party recruiters, educational institutions, and community partners to support workforce needs.
- Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics, including sourcing effectiveness, ROI, and monthly and annual talent acquisition results.
- Ensure a high‑quality onboarding experience for new hires, volunteers, and contractors, with a focus on continuous improvement and positive candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field required.
- Human Resources Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience in a Talent Acquisition role required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- I/DD employment experience preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in use of Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required.
Experience producing and editing professional graphics and presentations using design platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) preferred. - Valid Ohio Driver’s License with the ability to travel within and outside the state of Ohio.
