JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our workplace culture, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and enhancing employee engagement through effective training and development programs. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in human resources management, process improvement, and data collection.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with employment labor laws.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires.
- Design and deliver training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Utilize HR software systems such as ADP for efficient data management and reporting.
- Conduct regular assessments of HR processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs, performance issues, and employee relations matters.
- Prepare and manage budgets related to HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in human resources management, with a strong understanding of employment labor law.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and regulations.
- Experience in training development and implementation of effective employee programs.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection and reporting purposes.
- Proficiency in HR software systems, particularly Paylocity and Ceridian.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
