Job Description:
The HR Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all human resources activities, acting as both a strategic advisor and hands-on contributor. This individual will establish and refine HR processes, ensure compliance, and support leadership in driving a positive and effective workplace environment. The role requires someone comfortable working independently while partnering closely with leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, organize, and enhance HR processes, policies, and documentation from the ground up
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR strategies, employee relations, and organizational development
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
- Oversee employee relations matters, providing guidance on performance management and conflict resolution
- Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and maintain accurate employee records
- Manage HR systems and track key metrics such as hiring timelines and turnover
- Coordinate training initiatives, including compliance and professional development programs
- Support compensation practices, including benchmarking and job classification
- Assist with workplace safety initiatives and related reporting in partnership with operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience managing benefits administration and employee relations
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HR function
