Position Summary

Credit One Bank is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for supporting a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, immigration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for supporting employees and fostering a positive company culture and will gain a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures.
 

Summary Essential Job Functions

  • Support the talent acquisition function through execution and auditing of applicable processes
  • Support for Form I-9s, including reverifications and internal audits
  • Facilitate the hiring and onboarding processes of candidates through the applicant tracking system
  • Support the execution of recruiting plans for open positions, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
  • Provide support to all levels of leaders, managers, and employees on HR policies and procedures, including immigration, employment laws, and regulations
  • Support administrative processes around new hire onboarding and paperwork completion
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on talent acquisition metrics and trends
  • Proactively suggest opportunities for process improvement and execution
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of previous HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations, and/or immigration administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS/ATS systems
 

Preferred

  • Immigration services and work authorization experience
  • Previous immigration paralegal experience
  • Reporting and analytics experience
